Cod Fishing | Stellwagen Bank MA Codfish

The August 19 visit to the historic Stellwagen Bank of the coast of Massachusetts was quite successful. Andy and Rich’s guest, Capt. John Walker, showed what it takes to target monster Cod in the deep water. Calm seas, perfect conditions and a steady bite made for an unforgettable day. Most of the fishing was done on the east side of the bank in depths from 200 to 300 feet. All of the fish were of legal size and several of the fish were in the 30-40lb class. There was also a nice mix of Ling, some huge Cusk, and legal size Pollack. If you have questions about any of the equipment used during the show, please contact us.
