By Capt Andy LoCascio - 02/07/2009 - Short URL: https://neangling.com/?p=3215 - Views: 376650

Angler Mitch Wergiles fights and releases a huge striped marlin while fishing in the Galapagos. The fish was so large that it was momentarily mis-identified as a blue marlin. The fish was estimated at well over 400lbs which is just about as large as striped marlin get. The Galapagos Islands are known for the largest striped marlin on the planet.
