Stow Mate Storage Organizers - Soft Bucket

On every trip, whether it’s local or far offshore we always carry a lot of gear. As I’m sure you all deal with on your boats, storage is either limited or it’s just difficult to keep things organized properly.

StowMate® has designed a wide variety of solutions for these issues. Their Soft Bucket is one of my favorites because for me it’s the most versatile and having several of them is a must for me.

We carry a minimum of two cast nets on each of our boats, including our personal ones. Keeping the nets safe from other gear, as well as being able to clean them properly and keep them clean and dry is nearly impossible. The great thing about the Soft Bucket is that it is made of vinyl coated polyester mesh. That allows us to hose down the net at the end of the day either on the dock or even in the bag, then “Stow” it away safely and allow it to dry in any compartment and not have it pick up any grime or slime in those compartments.

The other great way we used them was for our dock lines. We used the bag to the same advantage as we did with the cast net. The lines stay nice and organized and don’t get tangled up with other gear, any they stay drier.
