The New Boats
The folks at Trtion have put together a great lineup of exciting center console fishing machines.  On Northeast Angling you will see their 2895cc rigged with twin 250hp Mercury Verado engines.  You will also see their 225cc rigged with a single 250hp Mercury Verado.

Earl Bentz and the folks at Triton have put together an exciting line of saltwater boats that have redefined the center console marketplace.  Their extremely tough wide beam center consoles are every fisherman’s dream. Ranging from 19 to 35 feet, for the bay, flats, or offshore, they make a boat for just about everyone.

Mercury continues to lead outboard the industry in innovation with their exciting 4-stroke Verado engine.  Mercury has set a new standard for reliability, performance, and raw power.  The Verado is almost completely silent and features electronic steering and throttle controls.

"One of the biggest reasons why we shoot the best shows and perform so well in competition is because of the enormous advantage we have running Verado powered Triton boats.  We can go places in conditions that leave most other anglers at the dock and when we get there, we know we have exactly what we need to be safe and successful." Capt Andy LoCascio - Host Northeast Angling

Navionics is the leader in electronic charting and navigation data.  Starting in 2007 all the Northeast Angling boats use the Navionics Platinum XL3 Charts.  These charts are packed with exciting features, previously unavailable for dedicated chartplotters, such as geo-referenced charting, cruising guides, 3D bathymetric views, satellite photography, panoramic port photographs, the U.S. Coast Pilot, a comprehensive wreck database, enhanced port services information, coastal roads and extra-large coverage areas. Now navigators can benefit, not only from exceptional chart accuracy and detail, but also use Platinum’s advanced capabilities to see navigational aids that are often not visible on ordinary charts.

Fishermen and divers needed a reliable marker that would remain in place after setting to mark particular locations. Traditional markers used a fixed sinker line which might either be too short to reach the bottom or might become entangled in the propeller. The Automatic Adjusting Marker Buoy automatically releases the necessary line for the depth and also avoids line entanglement. The marker also needed to be made of durable long-lasting materials for extended product life. The Automatic Adjusting Marker Buoy is made of durable nylon, Styrofoam and stainless steel for long life.  (click the image to enlarge) Available now at Skimmer Outdoors!

All the boats are equipped with Rule Gentle-Flow Oxygenator systems.  These are a must here in the northeast where we struggle to keep big baits alive.  This system introduces air into the base of the livewell pump through the air control center producing millions of micro-fine bubbles.  This system extends the life of our baits and the capacity of our livewells!
STA-BIL, America’s top selling fuel stabilizer, is a blend of scientific additives that prevents fuel from deteriorating so engines start quickly and easily after storage.  Stored fuel goes bad in as little as 60 days causing varnish deposits and corrosion to build up in engines. This build-up results in starting problems, poor performance, and reduced engine life. STA-BIL stops the formation of varnish and prevents corrosion and is the #1 item on our winter storage checklist!  Click here to find the nearest dealer.
The OPTIMA® BlueTop battery will keep you on the water longer. Its patented SPIRALCELL® Technology means more running time, faster recharge, and up to twice the life of traditional marine and RV batteries.  The OPTIMA® is over 15 times more resistant to vibration than other batteries and is also spill-proof and maintenance free.
The folks at Ameripack make an incredible selection of battery powered lights.  Several lights have been attached via their key rings and 1/4" elastic cords to strategic places in this boat.  These lights can be found in the electronics panel behind the console, in the stern pump area and in several other poorly lit places.  The UKE 2AAA also has a clip that can be used to attach the light to the brim of a hat or on a pair of glasses.

All the tackle used on Northeast Angling is stored in Ameripack tackle systems.  The Backpack Tackle system is used to get the tackle to the fish!  All the rods and reels are transported using the Rod Pods and the Reel Locker.  They insure that everything makes it to the shoot in perfect condition.  Their versatile Fly Boxes are also used for bucktails and rigs.
