Other OutRigger Considerations

• They do not include line clips, a simple roller clip on a snap is the best solution
• Most rod holders have inserts that may need to be removed to allow for the diameter of the outrigger base
• Though a zero degree rod holder is recommended, these work just as well in angled rod-holders
• Some rod butts may be too big to fit into the rod holder in the rigger, and will need to go into another holder
• O-rings are used at each of the joints and are great at ensuring that the sections can easily be unscrewed.  However, they can be removed to add additional stiffness.

Big Boat Applications for Outrigger Unlimited

These are a very clever alternative for the small boat owner, but they also have big-boat applications.  They are the perfect solution for flatlines.  Because the length of the boom can be adjusted, it is easy to get the perfect placement.  They are just as easy to use as stern-mounted flatline clips.  For boats with a narrow beam, the additional spacing makes for a more effective center rigger lure placement.  These are also perfect for drift-fishing and slow-bump trolling.
