The Manhattan Cup Tournament is a prestigious inshore fishing event sponsored by the Fishermen's Conservation Association. It is recognized as the premier inshore fishing tournament in the Northeast and the largest catch-and-release tournament in the tri-state area.
Anglers compete to catch the largest striped bass, bluefish, and weakfish. The competition includes three categories based on fishing technique: fly, artificial, and bait.
The LIVE RELEASE Division allows anglers to weigh in striped bass caught live using a special device before releasing them back into the water. This promotes conservation by ensuring fish survival after the tournament.
The tournament is sponsored and organized by the Fishermen's Conservation Association (FCA), with assistance from captains and crew members dedicated to the event's success.
