Porgy Bites - Recipe

By Kyle Ondrey - 09/04/2011 - Short URL: https://neangling.com/?p=3875 - Views: 61934

One of the quickest and most simple recipes I’ve ever come up with.

Incredients:

  • Porgy Fillets
  • Garlic Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Ritz Crackers
  • Sliced Provolone cheese or thick cut Jarlsberg

Heat the oil a skillet on medium heat. Simply season both sides the fillets with the garlic salt and pepper. Lightly coat with flour. Add the fish to the skillet and cook until lightly browned, about 2-3min per side.

Once done, cut fillets into bite sizes pieces. Place ritz crackers on a baking sheet and place each piece of fish on cracker and top with cheese. Broil until cheese is melted and serve immediately.
