Old Harbor

Drove out to Montauk this morning to meet up with Capt Andy, Lauren Santini and Tommy to make the trip over to the island. Seas were relatively manageable with a SW at 10-15 and slack tide, and made it intoThe Boat Basin (our favorite marina) in The Great Salt Pond around 8am and had a little mishap while tying up as Tommy made the mistake of trying to get his iPhone out of his pocket instead of holding onto the piling as the boat slipped a bit from a strong gust, sad to say the iPhone didn’t make it.

Got settled in to the Island Home and made it in time for breakfast and of course Dina had made her famous french toast which is just incredible.

We had a great dinner at the Poor Man’s Pub, The Lobster quesadilla was incredible as was my Spicy Oyster Po’ Boy.

Getting a moderate start tomorrow morning for some bass fishing with Jeff Pierce of Mustad, Capt Andy and Tommy.
